Cranberry Almond Balls
Nothing makes me happier than snacks that taste delicious, but are good for us too. Energy balls are one of my favourites because I love them, my toddler loves them and they are easy to toss into a lunch box or grab on your way out for a walk.
These little balls are packed with fat (the good kind), fibre, vitamin E, magnesium, calcium and potassium. Plus, our Queen of Green adds bonus ingredients like spirulina, chlorella, reishi mushroom and nettle leaf.
Super simple to make. You don't even need a blender or food processor, just a big bowl, the ingredients and your hands.
These are one afternoon snack you don't have to feel guilty about!
What you need:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 almond butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 TBSP Queen of Green
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/4 cup cranberries
To make:
Mix almond butter, almond extract and maple syrup together in a bowl. Add Queen of Green and rolled oats. Once combined, stir in the cranberries. Roll into ball and store in the fridge up to 5 days.
